Technology that stays out of the way of the work.

Professional offices need dependable systems and a responsive person who already understands the environment. Gables Network provides the depth and continuity of an internal technology partner without requiring a full internal IT department.

One relationship, the complete environment

Workstations depend on networks, servers, storage, backups, security, remote access, applications, vendors, and the habits of the people using them.

We maintain those relationships as one environment. That familiarity makes preventive work more effective and occasional problems faster to diagnose.

Ongoing maintenance

Maintenance arrangements are shaped around the client rather than forced into one generic package.

A representative schedule may include lighter weekly tune-up, update, and maintenance cycles followed by a deeper monthly review. Servers, NAS devices, network infrastructure, and other critical systems receive their own procedures and schedules.

The objective is straightforward: keep systems updated, secure, dependable, and largely invisible during the working day.

An ongoing relationship may include

  • Workstation maintenance and performance checks
  • Operating-system and application updates
  • Server and storage maintenance
  • Backup monitoring and recovery planning
  • Network, Wi-Fi, and connectivity support
  • Security configuration and practical risk reduction
  • Secure remote troubleshooting
  • Vendor and service-provider coordination
  • Planned maintenance outside business hours when appropriate
  • Documentation and familiarity with the complete environment

Responsive without the runaround

When an established client calls, there is no need to begin with a stranger reading the same script from the beginning. We already understand the people, systems, history, and priorities involved.

Many issues can be resolved remotely. When hardware or infrastructure requires an onsite presence, the visit is planned around what will minimize disruption.

Projects beyond maintenance

  • New offices and satellite locations
  • Office moves
  • Network and server replacements
  • Workstation fleets
  • Conference-room and audiovisual systems
  • Camera, access, and related infrastructure
  • Remote-work and business-continuity projects
  • Specialist vendors and low-voltage providers

A long view

Referral-built experience

From failing infrastructure to relationships lasting more than 25 years

One of Gables Network’s first major clients was a professional firm operating on outdated computers, a failing legacy server, misconfigured networking, no meaningful backup system, inefficient printing, and an unstructured file environment.

The work proceeded in deliberate stages. Servers, networking, backups, shared printing, security, permissions, file organization, and staff training came first. Once the backbone was dependable, approximately 60 custom workstations were prepared and deployed over a single weekend.

Productivity improved, recurring problems dropped sharply, and the project became an ongoing maintenance relationship. When the original firm later separated, several attorneys formed their own practices and remained clients. Some of those relationships continue today.
